Hard Maple is a great choice for stained cabinet doors when lighter-colored stains are utilized. The subtle grain patterns of maple work nicely with these stains. However, maple's inconsistent pore patterns make darker stains a bit riskier. The darker stains don't get absorbed evenly and therefore can result in an inconsistent finish.
These finish combinations are recommended for their color consistency and reproducibility.
These finish combinations lack color consistency, and highlight negative qualities(machine marks, open end grain, etc). Products with these traits will not be considered defective. A surcharge will be added for the additional labor.
Computer monitors vary, so determining color from a picture on this or any other website is not recommended. We recommend that you order a sample kit, sample swatch or sample cabinet door with your color choice(s) before finalizing your order.
