Alder wood, long popular in the western U.S., is a lightweight wood in the birch family that has similar grain patterns to Cherry, but without as much of the red tone. Stained Alder cabinet doors are very attractive in almost any application.
These finish combinations are recommended for their color consistency and reproducibility.
These finish combinations lack color consistency, and highlight negative qualities(machine marks, open end grain, etc). Products with these traits will not be considered defective. A surcharge will be added for the additional labor.
Computer monitors vary, so determining color from a picture on this or any other website is not recommended. We recommend that you order a sample kit, sample swatch or sample cabinet door with your color choice(s) before finalizing your order.

Finish Sample Kits are available for many of the most popular wood species and for the Colourtone finishes. Individual sample swatches may be ordered for any color. Contact your Account Representative for details and pricing.
